The first amendment was supposed to have people say what they want and a news source or other station blurring out what you say. Although there are circumstances in which it is need like when talking about others phone numbers or addresses.

I think that censorship violates the first amendment because we all have the right to get our point across without any of the words being cut out. If all the citizens of the United States really do have "freedom of speech" then we have the right to say what is on our mind.
